I suspect that some seasoned campers like to talk about their 'gear' about like some dudes way into working on cars, or some folks who are way into photography or stereo equipment. Their simplest explanations tend to leave us basic beginners in the dust pretty quickly!. 😅

Great video...I waited over 1 yr to get a power station and 12v Iceco fridge, now need to see how they work together and if my older minivan ports work while driving. I appreciate being aware of this issue. My Bluetti AC180 came with a very short cord to charge with a 12v port, that's one issue I will need to address. Love that you can be a hero to someone on the road so they don't have to lose their groceries.

With your solar generator, you could purchase 2 items and cook inside with no flames. I purchased an electronic kettle and the Dezin electric pot I cook outside with it two but in windy rain it has been a game changer for me. I carry an IKEA poncho instead of a privacy tent... I have found I like having my front passenger seat, because I have picked up a passenger occasionally. Less is definitely more in a small space. Thanks! I’ve had the intermittent contact issue with my fridge as well. I also had the red cap stay in the 12V connector slot when I removed the cord after use. Thankfully I noticed and extracted it with needle nose pliers.

Like you I have and keep extra 12 volt sockets with barrel plugs on the end. Because you're right, You will come across someone who needs one. For me I have always just Cut off the Red Cap plug. Then just splicing a good one, At that time I can take the opportunity to lengthen my cord if any.

lets start with the fact we are still using that stupid connection in 2024... still producing products to run of it... its the worst connection mechanism on the market. andersons or any cylinder 10mm, 9mm be better hands down

I don't have any red end plugs, so far. When I did have a connection problem with my minivan's 12 V socket, I found out it worked if I lined up the grooves in it to the side connectors on the plug. Then it worked fine. Jon in rural BC, Canada

Easiest relief I found for chigger bites... fill a bottle 60% with witch hazel and 40% with amber mouthwash. Swab that mixture over the bites as much and as often as needed.

Thank you for another informative and entertaining video... Zzzap! I carry a bowl that is similar to a thermos, a thermos a Dezin electric pot and an electric kettle. I eat oatmeal for breakfast most of the time and use a My Joe and hand grinders to make my 16 oz of morning coffee. I also carry a backpacking stove to cook outside too. My bed is always setup in the minivan and the Jeep, but I am verticality challenged so, I only need 70inches... It is good to see a new video from your. 😊

It won’t be blue

Hi Kevin, I think a Blue Moon is when there are 2 full moons in the same month... I just checked, apparently there is also a "seasonal blue moon", which is the 3rd full moon in a season with 4 full moons. 🤓

Blue moons are slightly bigger but never blue -I googled it 🤷 I carry my dog, 🤣 she sincerely was a foster fail that has turned out to rescue me 🙏🙏❣️ Love the bug zapper-got my rechargeable light/bug zapper with a hook to easily move to where it's needed 👍

Motion sensor lights are also great to put under your van to keep mice from climbing up and munching on wiring. I'm with you when it comes to a chair as most places I camp either have picnic tables, or I can sit in the door or back hatch area. I do carry my Omnia Oven as I like to cook/bake in it, and a few collapsable items. Once nice thing about limo tinted windows...you can see out at night, but no one can see in unless you have a bright light on. I only cover my windshield and cab side windows if I cover any at all. Every time I return to home base from a camping trip I remove anything I didn't use, except for basic safety items (fire extinguisher, jump pack, etc.).

Like others have said the blue moon is just the second full moon of the month. Normally there is only one per month. It's nothing special. It does not turn blue. Also, a telescope is not easy to see much during a full moon because the craters etc appear flat and not special. I recommend to see a partial moon and then look at the boundary between dark and light. This highlights the craters and mountains and is fun to look at. The super moon is a slightly larger than average full moon, but you would have to measure to see the difference from regular full moons. Caused by the moon being closer, the moon going around the earth in a slightly non-circular orbit. Again super moons are nothing special. Amateur astronomy is a hobby for me and I often carry a small telescope in my SUV.
